Education and Prevention

Centre Safe is available to provide groups, training, presentations, consultation, materials and programs around a variety of topics for your school, business, faith group, class, organization, or other type of community group.

 

Some examples of this include: consulting with school district health teachers on curriculum, providing domestic violence training for church members, facilitating safe-touch lessons with daycare centers and preschools, leading sexual harassment presentations for middle school students, serving on a panel about teen dating violence at the high school, providing workplace sexual harassment training and guidance for local businesses, and delivering informational brochures and pamphlets to medical providers.

Community Programs

Awareness programs and professional trainings are available to community groups, teachers, human service agencies, faith organizations, and businesses on the topics of:

  • Domestic violence
  • Sexual assault
  • Child sexual abuse
  • Workplace sexual harassment
  • Creating safe and welcoming community
  • Centre Safe services

Youth Programs

Early education and prevention is an essential part of safe and healthy communities and schools. Our trained staff are available to provide developmental and age appropriate presentations and trainings for youth of all ages around a variety of topics, including:

  • Healthy relationships
  • Bystander intervention
  • Consent
  • Child abuse
  • Domestic and dating violence
  • Sexual violence
  • Roots of violence and oppression
